In the last year people I barely knew became the people I love. Time and life have a funny way of happening, sometimes it seems like a day lasts forever but at the end of the week/month or year you don't have a clue what happened. Make it worth it, you only get it once.

a peek in my mind

life's too short to be worrying about anything really, the other day i caught myself at work thinking about the facts:

-60 seconds in a minute
-60 minutes in an hour
-24 hours in a day
-365 days in a year
-? years till the end of time left

one full revolution of the earth is 24 hours, and one full revolution of the earth around the sun is 365 days. in the average life, a person will experience about 70 full trips around the sun, ONLY 70, the oldest rocks on earth are about 3.5 billion years old, so that means that the earth has made over 3 BILLION trips around the sun, and we only make 70?! are you kidding?!, why would you waste your time in existence stressing out about really really dumb things, ride the wave that is life, and do as you please, don't let another person tell you what they think is right, because they're probably wrong, because they're not you and they don't understand the world that you see, just like your not them and you don't understand the world they see.

Long Time No Blog

The year is 2009, it's March 16th and the start of a new spring is upon us. Listening to the noises of DNTEL, find the album Dumb Luck and embrace its sounds and feelings this spring. If you haven't seen me in the last week, its because I've been painting... painting fresh drywall in an office building in Birds Hill. There's something about painting a room that I'm probably not going to see ever again, it's as if I put something of myself into it and I'm leaving it behind in the paint for whomever walks those rooms to see. If you think that was deep, I'm just getting started...black holes and time travel...Here's a question, If you could travel through time to an undetermined destination(past or future) would you? Would you be willing to risk everything you've come to have in this life? Or is your life just a meaningless blip in time that doesn't really matter? There were billions before you, and there are going to be billions after you, realize that though the time you've been given here is to be cherrished, just remember that it could be taken away in a second. I'm not expecting anyone to have answers for themselves after reading this, I just wanted to get people to start thinking, there's alot of hopeless people, and ignorant figureheads that let life get down on you, so just remember whats really important.

On another note, it really is spring, no more waiting for the vehicle to warm up, no more freezing when walking to work. It's almost time to start skating to work in nothing but jeans and a tee! This is a whole new year to look forward to. Another year means, another Canada Day weekend, another May long weeknd, another halloween, another thanksgiving, another christmas, another camping trip(x10), another few nights of staying out late enough to watch the sun come up, another night of waking up on the beach, and lets not forget at the end of the years shenanigans..New Years Eve! If your still reading this after that first bit, I can't believe it, but if you made it this far, I want to see you sometime in the next two weeks, lets hang out and make memories in the world.

minneapolis!

This was Minneapolis in a nutshell, drank American beer, smoked American cigarettes, shopped in American stores, and save a hell of a lot of money doing so. Our hotel was within close distance to Chili's, TGIFridays and a Ruby Tuesday; to say the least, I ate till I puked. Sliders, cheap steaks and refills on everything were hard to pass up. On the way home we stopped in at an IHOP for lunch and I opted to get 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon, hashbrowns, and all you can eat pancakes for the low price of $7.99; with prices like that no wonder the folks just a short drive south are the fattest in the world, God help them, and God bless the U S of A. Here's the photos I decided to put up as a little catalog of the trip.
The BEST pringles the world could offer.

Can't go wrong with waffle fries!

Here's a house we passed of the way back, somehow we got lost and ended up in the middle of nowhere, let me give you some advice, just head north.

This town had a nice looking public library, not nice enough to coax me in on this day though.

Read closely, if you eat the sugar, you will get the cancer.

The fog that turns you inside out.

I just wanted to listen to the misfits.

Rain at 75MPH

A stranger.

This bud's for you?

Best purchase of the trip, $10 at Best Buy

40oz to freedom.

Turkish Blend.
